Today, you have time to explore two historic German cities. Choose between Heidelberg, Ladenburg and Speyer. Then decide how you want to explore them:

  • Hike the Philosopher’s Path above Heidelberg + Christmas markets

  • Visit Speyer + Christmas markets

Day 6: Strasbourg, France

  • Strasbourg’s Christkindelsmärik is the oldest Christmas market in France. Today, you can choose to join a bus and walking tour of the town or pedal around on a bike tour.

Day 7: Breisach, Germany You’ve got options again today.

  • Visit the storybook village of Riquewihr + Christmas markets

  • Visit Freiburg, famous for the spire on its Gothic cathedral + Christmas markets

Day 8: Basel, Switzerland

  • Disembark your ship

  • Explore Basel on your own

  • Head to the airport OR

  • Extend your trip with a tour through Switzerland
