Packing For The Perfect Cruise

Wondering what to pack for an upcoming cruise? Here's our list of essential items to take on a cruise.

One of the best things about a cruise is not having to plan too much. You step on board and all your needs are taken care of, food and entertainment are laid out for you – no muss, no fuss, right? Just pure enjoyment!

However, no matter how well a cruise company anticipates all of your needs, there are a few extra items you can bring with you to make your fantastic vacation even better. We’ve got a few suggestions of must-have items to take on your next cruise:

Cordless fan – Rooms on a cruise ship can get a bit stuffy, no two ways about it. Don’t let that ruin your trip though! Keep the air moving with this travel-size cordless fan, perfect for your bedside table.

Cruise-approved powerstrip – With all the gadgets and tech that need charging, you’ll probably find yourself in need of extra outlets. This cruise-approved powerstrip is a life-saver. (Be sure to check with your cruise line for rules about power strips.)

Over-door storage – Staying organized is crucial to enjoying your time and not spending ages trying to find your belongings. Make the most of your space with this nifty over-door storage organizer and never lose your deodorant again!

Collapsable water bottle – Staying hydrated is essential, but the cost of bottled water can add up! Toss this collapsable water bottle in your bag and refill it instead of buying bottles. Squish it back down when you’re done drinking – no bulky bottles here!

Waterproof phone pouches – Nothing ruins a trip faster than a damaged phone. Protect yours from any potential water damage with these waterproof pouches. (You’re on your own, though, if you drop your phone overboard…)

Foldable hangers – There never seem to be enough hangers when traveling! And you don’t want to show up to dinner with clothes wrinkled from being squished in your suitcase. We’ve got the solution right here with these fantastic foldable hangers. Say goodbye to wrinkled shirts!

Clothesline with clips – Even if you’re not doing laundry on board, wet swimsuits and towels are inevitable. No one wants wet clothes all over the cabin! Hang them up to dry with this handy clothesline and clips.

Motion light – We’ve all been there. You wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, but you’re not familiar with your surroundings and BAM! Stubbed toe. Save your toes with this motion sensor light to illuminate your way on any nighttime ventures.

As you can see, it doesn’t take much to make a great vacation into a marvelous one. By doing a bit of shopping ahead of time and throwing these small items into your luggage, you can make an already amazing trip even better – and you might wonder how you ever lived without the items on this list!
